Culinary Darwinist

"It is not the strongest of the species that survives, not the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change." -Charles Darwin

The Culinary Darwinist is rooted in a rich philosophy that goes way deeper than your average food blog. As such, the logo for the blog targeted toward savvy millennials needed to mirror its strong vision.

This project was ideal in that the client had a clear vision, and provided conscientious feedback that allowed for exploration in the form of beagles and finches wearing culinary jackets. The final result is a layered cake of modern and nostalgic themes, firmly baked in geometry.

I'm Jess Fram, an experienced visual designer and art director based in coastal Maine.

I believe each project offers discovery opportunities, and I leverage my natural curiosity to drive my process. With a focus on user-centered design and a growth mindset, I aim to create visually impactful solutions that empower brands. Outside of design, I enjoy exploring Maine, playing video games, and spending time with my wife, two retired racing greyhounds, and tuxedo cat.
